So you have your website up and running. Now you’re ready to take
it to the next level and start a forum page. Forums have been around
for practically as long as the Internet. Bulletin boards, blogs, and guest
books have all been variations and steps to what has become the
current standard in forums.

Forums can be a great addition to a website or they can be a source
of frustration to not only you as the webmaster, but also to your site
visitors. If the forum is not monitored and updated, visitors will consider
it a mark against instead of for you. If you want to increase use of your
forum and therefore increase overall traffic to your site, you need to
have the right application as well as the dedication to making it work.

All of this means that unless you are a programmer, you need to choose
the right software. I have done several forums with various pieces of
software and found one that stands out above the rest. I tested this
software several years ago and was impressed with the ease and
functionality. I have since used it on several sites that I have been
involved with. With a name like Snitz, it better be good. You may
have already seen a forum or even posted on one that was developed
with the Snitz forum software.

There are many great features in Snitz, but one of the biggest has to
be the ease of setup. You can download the package and have the
forum up and running on your site in minutes. It has built in capability
of connecting to an Access, SQL or MySql with only minor configuration
changes. There are far too many other features to go through now. You
owe it to yourself to check it out and see for yourself. You can download
it and read more on their site at http://www.forum.snitz.com. By the way,
did I mention that it is free? What are you waiting for? Go to it, your site
visitors will thank you.
